I’m the owner of Wedding Nannies. That still feels very surreal to say as I genuinely do love it so much. I have worked in childcare for more years than I can count and I have been a private nanny, childminder, and early years practitioner as well as a mum to my own two.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my kids (when they think I’m cool enough to hang out with, since they are 16 and 19), my two pups, and sometimes even my husband.

I first met Laura when I was a bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding last year. I was so impressed at the service she offered on the day! Laura is such a lovely person, she just slotted into the wedding day perfectly. She got on with the entire wedding party and made the day run so effortlessly for the bride and groom. I was so impressed I booked her for my wedding there and then! I had a 6 week old at the time and knew that by the time my wedding came around I’d have a one year old who would require a lot more attention. Weddings are the best days but can also be super stressful if you have wee ones. We recruited Laura of Wedding Nannies to help with our 11 month old granddaughter. Best decision EVER. We had an intro session with Laura before the wedding during which she explained how she would ‘blend into the background’ and ‘move in’ when needed. Well, our wee one loved her so much that Laura became one of our family that day.
